Emergency Response Services
Enviro Care’s Emergency Response Division maintains a 24-hour 365 day expertise HAZMAT Response Team that will respond in the event of an accidental release of all hazardous materials or substances as defined by the United States Department of Transportation, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 49, Section 172.101 “Hazardous Materials Table”. In addition, we are a recognized Oil Spill Response Organization (OSRO) per the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, in conjunction with the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP). We performed several training exercises under the supervision of the Environmental Protection Agency and maintain an excellent reputation as a leader in the response industry. Our response personnel consist of full-time, trained, insured employees with years of experience remediating flammable, corrosive, poison, reactive, oxidizer, PCB, explosive, unstable/shock sensitive and petroleum-based materials. Our response teams include chemists; geologists, hydrologists, Certified Industrial Hygienist, federally permitted explosive technicians, hazardous waste management technicians and other specialists with extensive governmental and industrial experience.
Our extensive experience includes lab packing, confined space entries, waste identification, HazCatTM field identification and other services. Our Field Services Division provides complete remediation services, including site investigation, unknown drum sampling and screening, field sampling for EPA and state analysis, and repacking of waste for off-site disposal. We specialize in preparing waste for off-site shipments to EPA RCRA and TSCA approved facilities. Enviro Care has performed numerous projects at CERCLA and Superfund controlled facilities and has the experience and knowledge to complete all tasks when dealing with federal government agencies.
Waste Management Services
Enviro Care’s experienced staff can assist in the development and implementation of proper, cost-effective strategies to meet each customer’s complex waste disposal requirements. Our full service approach will help identify proper management, treatment or disposal for your waste. Enviro Care cares about the liability of its customers and the effect waste has on the environment and will only recommend use of approved facilities for land disposal, treatment, stabilization, incineration, blending or recycling.
Enviro Care’s Transportation Division is licensed, permitted and insured to transport hazardous waste substances and materials. Our insurance coverage includes $10,000,000 general liability with contractor’s pollution liability and $1,000,000 auto liability with MCS 90 pollution liability. We hold Interstate Common and DOTMC Contract (ICC) authority, and also have Utah intrastate authority. Our power units are licensed to transport waste in thirty-one (31) states that require special licensing.
Training & Compliance
Enviro Care offers customized and specialty training along with open enrollment classes in both the public and private sectors of the hazardous substances industry, including HAZWOPER, emergency response, DOT and custom courses. Enviro Care has the knowledge, training and experience to assist you in compliance with federal, state and local regulations, EPA, OSHA and DOT training. We are dedicated to developing and delivering both standard and custom training programs meeting the federal, state and local requirements as well as the client’s needs.
Enviro Care has its home office centrally located at 505 North Main Street, in North Salt Lake, Utah at the hub of all transportation modes for the western US. The North Salt Lake facility is situated on 3+ acres, housing the response, remediation and transportation facility, including a maintenance facility for our vehicles.
